Ouarzazate is a city in southern Morocco that is known as the Gateway to the Desert. The name Ouarzazate becomes from an Arabic phrase meaning "without noise."
Ouarzazate is also known as the "Hollywood of Africa". The city has several film studios where films have been shot as the "Jewel of the Nile", "Asterix" and "Cleopatra" or "The Ten Commandments".
We will travel through the High Atlas to enjoy all the Berber villages. We will go through the Tizi n'Tichka - the highest mountain which reaches 2,260 meters altitude. We will visit the Kasbah Taourirt and Ait Benhadu, an old picturesque mountain village declared a World Heritage Site by Unesco.
For this tour we need about 4 hours to reach and return, so it will be a long day but certainly not lacking emotions!
